OS X Lion Update News

This is from AppleInsider: Apple has revealed plans for how business, education and larger installations will do their OS X Lion upgrades; read about it at this link. Apple themselves have also posted a PDF with the information. In short, you will buy your upgrade online via the App Store, and once the download has completed you can run an upgrade app on the target system. If you have multiple Macs you can just copy the app to the other systems and run it there. You will also be able to run your System Update Utility to create a NetInstall or NetRestore image.

I’m not sure yet how this will affect us hackintosh users, but I still think we will be ok. More news to follow as soon as I figure it out!
